Bethany After School Care (BASC) is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children after school hours. It offers parents peace of mind while ensuring children are well cared for, positively engaged, and provided with opportunities to learn life skills, social skills, and creativity. BASC focuses on children’s overall development by blending play, rest, structured activities, and social interaction in thoughtfully designed spaces.
BASC – Koramangala Branch
A step closer to home – for our children of PPD Bethany High, Koramangala
The Bethany After School Care (BASC), Koramangala, was inaugurated on 15th July 2025. It is designed as a sanctuary for children and a support system for parents. The centre provides a safe, comfortable space where children are:
- Well-fed with freshly cooked lunches and age-appropriate evening snacks. Well-rested in spacious nap/reading areas.
- Engaged in meaningful, structured activities.
Facilities
The Koramangala branch is housed in a newly built, spacious, airy, and well-lit premises with a panoramic view. The design allows children to move freely and enjoy both indoor and semi-outdoor experiences. Facilities include:
- Sunlit open spaces for soaking in fresh air and warmth – promoting good health.
- A large play area for physical activities and group games.
- Dedicated art/craft and study zones.
- A spacious reading/nap room – safe, covered, and ventilated.
Timings
On school working days (We have four options):
- 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm
- 12:30 pm – 6:30 pm
- 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm
- 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm
On school holidays (as per BASC calendar):
- 9:30 am – 6:30 pm

BASC – Sarjapur Branch
The Bethany After School Care (BASC), Sarjapur, was inaugurated on 5th July 2025. This branch offers a safe, nurturing environment for children while their parents are at work or engaged. BASC at Sarjapur encourages early childhood development by blending structured activities, playtime, and social interaction. Children learn important life skills such as sharing, cooperation, and independence.

Activities at BASC Sarjapur
1. Social Skills
- Children learn communication, interaction, and relationship-building skills.
2. English Vocabulary
- Vocabulary-building exercises to strengthen language and communication.
3. Table Manners
Practical lessons on mealtime etiquette, including:
- Washing hands before eating.
- Chewing with mouth closed.
- Not talking with food in the mouth.
4. Fine Motor & Life Skill Activities
- Sewing (basic stitches using plastic needles & felt pieces)
- Enhances coordination, concentration, and creativity.
- Folding Activities (napkins, paper origami, clothes)
- Builds neatness, patience, and practical skills.
- Additional Life Skills: Buttoning, zipping, bead stringing, using scissors safely.
5. Creative Arts Crafts
- Clay Modelling: Improves creativity and finger strength.
- Paper Quilling (Paper Filigree): Encourages patience, focus, and artistic expression.
