You know that feeling on results day? The phone won’t stop buzzing. Parents are crying. Students are running down the corridor screaming. Teachers are hugging everyone in sight. That was us this year. And honestly? It still hasn’t sunk in fully.
Our ICSE and ISC batch of 2025-26 has done something incredible. They got 100 percent results. Not 99. Not 98. A clean, solid, beautiful 100 percent. Every single student who sat for the exams came back with a First Class. No one was left behind.
Let us give you the numbers because they deserve to be said out loud.
For ICSE, 148 students appeared. 119 from Science and 29 from Commerce. Every single one of them secured First Class. For ISC, 39 students appeared. 8 from Commerce, 16 from Humanities and 15 from Science. Again, all of them got First Class. We have been doing this for years, but it never gets old. Every batch, every child, every story matters to us.
Our ICSE Toppers and Those Brilliant Centums
Our ICSE School Topper is Nirmal Nair from Commerce. He scored 98.60 percent. Nirmal wants to build a career in Management with a focus on AI and Digital Marketing. His dream is to start his own company one day. Something tells me he will.
Then we have Shraddha Shailesh Kawale from Science with 97.80 percent. Three students tied at 97.60 percent: Harsh S Shetty, Daivik M and Mythri Amit Yelsangikar. That is a lot of late nights and coffee cups right there.
What we cherish even more than the toppers is the centums. Eight students got full marks in English Literature. Can you believe that? Eight. Four got centums in History & Civics. Two in Maths. Three in Chemistry. One in Biology. One in Physical Education. In Group III, we had three centums in Drama, four in Computer Applications and four in Art.
Four students scored a perfect hundred in Art. That is not just studying. That is talent. That is passion. That is hours of practice when no one was watching.

Our ISC Stars Shone Just as Bright
Now for our ISC batch, the overall School Topper is Aarohi Prasanna Oke from Humanities. She scored 99.50 percent. Almost perfect. Aarohi wants to work in Diplomacy and International Affairs. Looking at her scores, we have no doubt she will walk into any room and command respect.
Stream-wise, we have Alice Flora D’Cruz from Commerce with 96.50 percent and Manya Gupta from Science with 98.50 percent. In the ISC exams, we got three centums in Sociology, one in Art, one in Economics and one in Physical Education.
What strikes us most is the variety – Humanities, Commerce, Science, Drama, Art, Computer Applications and Physical Education. Our students are not robots who only know how to memorise textbooks. They are young people with real interests and real dreams.

What This Really Means
The numbers are impressive, but here’s what truly lies behind them.
We saw teachers staying back until six in the evening, going over the same concept for the tenth time because one student still did not get it. We saw parents driving across the city to pick up extra worksheets. We saw students sharing notes on WhatsApp groups at midnight. We saw someone cry in the library three days before the exam, and five friends sat around her until she smiled again.
That is the reality behind a 100 percent result. Not magic, just tireless, messy, beautiful human effort.
This year was not easy. Board exams are never easy, but this batch had something special. They did not compete against each other. They pulled each other up. They made fun of the stress to keep sane. They showed up.

To our teachers: You are the reason this happened. You came early. You left late. You never said no when a student asked for help. Thank you.
To the parents: We know what you gave up. The holidays you skipped. The sleep you lost. The worry you hid behind a smile. Thank you for trusting us with your children.
To our students: Go. Just go and be wonderful. Do not let these marks be the best thing you ever do. Let them be the first of many good things. Some of you will build companies. Some will negotiate peace. Some will teach. Some will create art that makes people feel less alone. Whatever you do, carry Bethany with you. Kindness. The stubborn hope. The refusal to give up.

Navigating the digital landscape is one of the most pressing challenges for parents and educators today. At Bethany Institutions, we believe that digital wellbeing is not an optional add-on, but a fundamental component of holistic student development.
On January 31, 2026, we hosted our Annual Digital Awareness and Wellbeing Session to address this exact challenge.
The event, titled “Digital Perspectives – The Experts Speak,” brought together over 400 parents from our Koramangala and Sarjapur campuses. Rather than offering a singular view, we curated a diverse panel to examine the issue from every angle:
Dr. Darelin (Psychiatrist) and Ms. Swati (Neurologist) provided clinical insights into the mental, emotional, and neurological impacts of screen use.
Mr. Vipin Pai (IT Professional) offered practical knowledge regarding the digital ecosystem.
Ms. Charanya (Parent and Journalist) and Ms. Aarefa (Student Representative) grounded the discussion in reality, sharing lived experiences from both the parenting and student perspectives.
The session included a panel discussion moderated by our Director, Dr. Akash Ryall, followed by an open forum led by Ms. Rohina Thomas, Head of the Counselling Department. This interactive format allowed parents to voice specific concerns and engage in a meaningful dialogue with the experts.
We are grateful to the Bethany Counselling Department for organizing such a timely and relevant session. The strong attendance and engagement from our parent community reinforce our shared commitment to guiding students toward a balanced, healthy, and aware relationship with technology.
Bethany believes in shaping leadership with heart and responsibility. Bethany High School, Koramangala, held its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27. Guided by the theme Heart minded. Less of me, more of we, our student leaders stepped forward with a shared commitment to serve, lead, and grow together. The ceremony was a meaningful reminder that true leadership begins with empathy, humility, and the courage to think beyond oneself. We wish our newly appointed leaders a year filled with purpose, integrity, and collective strength.
A meaningful Valedictory Service was held on 24 January 2026 at Bethany Institutions, Sarjapur, with the theme Super Trouper. It was an evening of reflection, gratitude, and hope as our graduating students marked an important milestone in their journey.
Our Chief Guest, Mr Jacob Cheriyan, an alumnus of Bethany High, Koramangala, shared a heartfelt message with the students, encouraging them to put God before everything, hold firmly to relationships, and remain strong through life’s storms.
Students from Bethany Sarjapur, Bethany Koramangala (ICSE and NIOS), and Bethany Junior College carried themselves with confidence and grace as they graduated. The Bethany Choir, along with the Music and Theatre Department staff, presented a special song, making the occasion even more memorable.
The ceremony also recognised students for academic excellence and special achievements, followed by a solemn moment where parents blessed their children as they prepare for their upcoming board examinations.
An evening filled with faith, encouragement, and shared pride, as the Bethany family stood together to send our graduates forward with confidence and purpose.
The Baccalaureate Service for our graduating students was held on Saturday, 17th January 2026, at the Bethany High Auditorium, Koramangala. With the theme “Super Trouper”, inspired from a verse from the Bible, James 1:12, the service was a meaningful time of worship, reflection, and encouragement. The Worship songs were led by the Senior Choir, Band, and the Soulspring Team, and they had some really powerful interactive moments, engaging the audience with phrases like ‘Get up, Get up, Get outta that grave’, encouraging the students to aim for a joyful life, not the mundane. They ended their Set with the soulful song ‘Gratitude’ and with segments of only voices singing the lyrics ‘I know it’s not much, nothing fit for a King, except for a heart singing ‘Hallelujah’!
The main message was delivered by Mr Vivian Angelo, CEO of Breakthrough, who spoke powerfully about purpose, character, and values. Drawing from his own school journey, he highlighted the lasting impact teachers have in shaping lives and helping students recognise their true potential. Quoting from Viktor Frankl’s “Man’s Search for Meaning”, he challenged students to reflect on their purpose in life, reminding them that when we know our “why”, we can endure any “how”. He spoke about kindness, integrity, second chances, building strong relationships with family, and the importance of choosing values over labels. He encouraged students to believe that change in character can transform one’s life and that meaning is found through our work, relationships, and faith. The service concluded with Mr. Vivian praying a powerful prayer of blessing over the students of Standards 10 and 12.
With over 60 years of educational heritage, Bethany Institutions continues to nurture students into well-rounded individuals equipped to thrive in all walks of life. Since our affiliation with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) in 1975 and the graduation of our first ICSE batch in 1976, we have steadily grown in strength and reputation, producing numerous toppers at both state and national levels.
At Bethany, we believe education extends far beyond the classroom. Our focus on holistic development includes strong encouragement for students to participate in sports, music, drama, and other co-curricular pursuits.

Achieving More Beyond the Classroom
These results are even more remarkable because many of our toppers were active participants in diverse school activities. These students exemplify the Bethany spirit from sports fields to the stage.
Some were dedicated athletes, participating in athletics, fencing, with one student even representing at the national level, and cricket tournaments. Others played key roles in our ambitious school musical production, ‘Big Fish’, staged in December 2024, where they contributed as actors, singers, dancers, and musicians.
Preparing for such a grand performance required intensive rehearsals and extended practice hours, yet these students skillfully balanced their commitments, demonstrating exceptional time management, discipline, and perseverance. Despite demanding schedules, they not only managed their academics but also excelled with outstanding results.
